| About our Tours -- The staff of European-travel.net has worldwide experience, understands the needs of tourists and will ensure professional handling of all groups. If you click on "Sample Tours "or "Specials" you will find some itineraries that are meant as suggestions. They can of course be altered in any way to meet your needs -- we can also serve your special interests by emphasising visits to places like art museums, religious and pilgrimage sites, architectural highlights, historical places, etc. Simply let us know the details and we will customize your tour based on your resp. your clients needs, desires, expectations and budget. When you ask for your customized itinerary we'll give you more detailes, including distances and driving times to daily destinations. European Tour Director: All time-consuming details that can monopolize precious vacation time, like arranging for transfers, finding out opening hours, translating etc., are handled by a professional multilingual European Tour Director who is with the group throughout the land portion of the tour. This Tour Director will inform about history, customs and cultures, but will also share intriguing “inside“ stories about the way of life in the different countries. Staff of European Travel Net: The staff of European Travel Net has worldwide experience, understands the needs of international travellers and will ensure professional handling of all groups. Our contracted Hotels: We work with hotels of all categories from de-luxe to budget. All of them are located in the center of the tour destinations, in larger cities close enough to public transportation so that important points can be reached quickly and easily should individual visits be wished Please note: There is no accepted international hotel rating system. Each country has its own priorities and preferences (the French, for instance, will forgive almost anything of a hotel which has an excellent restaurant!). A limited number of single rooms are usually available, at a supplemental rate. Be advised that single rooms can be as big as double rooms but sometimes they are quite small. Meals: Most of our hotels provide buffet breakfast with a choice of various breads, toast, rolls and croissants, fruit, juices, meats, patés, cereals, cheeses, eggs and coffee, tea or milk. We consciously avoid the typical halfboard situation which usually implies routine dinners. Instead we always include a welcome and a fare-well dinner with drinks, and on particular days and locations offer selected dinners or lunches that reflect local specialities and traditions. Your Tour Director is well informed about the local restaurant scenes, and will be more than happy to make recommendations for “on your own” meals. Should you find, though, that half-board is what you need for your tour, we will guarantee varied menus from night to night, so as to avoid unpleasant repetition. Motorcoach / land transportation: We contract for the best available motor coaches with reclining seats, wide windows, air-conditioning, built-in-stereophonic sound systems and power-packed silent diesel engines for maximum riding ease. The drivers are highly trained, skilful and safe with tested road records and knowledge of highways and byways. During the bus rides we have scheduled frequent rest and lunch stops. European trains are among the world's finest. Travelling by rail or boat - as we offer in some itineraries - adds another dimension to a well planned trip. Programs: Comprehensive guided sightseeing programs and all excursions are included as indicated in our itineraries. |
